Its totally a skull!

One of the advantages I guess of having to move back to Oxfordshire, because I'm a struggling artist, is there are loads of animal skulls in my house. Part of the disadvantage is I'm really not very good at drawing animal skulls, however I feel I'm starting to do it justice. 

At least I feel its defiantly better than this typewriter. Although I may have lost the will to draw it halfway through.

Well this is Rediculas

Sorry its been such a long time since the last time I posted, I'd like to say its because I've just been so snowed under with work, but I think its mainly been that I started watching Game of Thrones and realised that that was something you really couldn't by halves. But I am now totes up to date with that so really don't have any excuse not to blog.

So the variety of this that have happend since I last posted, I made business cards, and a website, in an attempt to try an appear that I had some kind of professionalism within me. I then went to New York to really sell that persona I had created for myself. Yer I think I really need to work on that professional side of myself, and that I am really not very comercial, although you know I'm about to enter the real World so you know I totes have the time to work out where my work could sit in some kind of way to make money.

But now I've finished what is there to do. I've place all my work in a pile so people can add some kind of numerical value on it, which will then validate it? Or tell you that it really wasn't worth you slogging for the last three years. 
Sorry this is my own personal thing about being given a percentage of how good you are. I'd prefer just know someones opinion rather than some indescifreble numerical value, but unfortunately thats not how education works, people like to be ranked.

But yes sorry this is becoming incredibly rambling I shall try and post a bit more regularly now that 17years of education is over, however I am currently trying to learn about HTML and CSS, because thats how I roll, and also because I really dislike how my website currently looks.

Helicopters

Its easter so you know defiantly time to waste some time. Heres my recently finished Apache longbow ah-64, although when I was sticking it together I did manage to lose a really important part, which meant I had to improvise with blue-tack and paperclips. Luckily I think the photographs are bad enough that you can't really see.

Jurass Finish First

I had a crisis of confidence and a fear that my contribution for the Falmouth Quotes and Sayings book number 8 wasn't going to be good enough, or not represent my work well enough, or not grab people so no one would want to pay for me for my work. You know all those real World worries you have just before your about to graduate. So I listened to some Jurassic 5, and although that didn't solve these worries it did make me feel better.

I will accept that in this image it looks a bit blue, but thats an RGB thing, when printed it looks much better, so heres my quotes image.

Something from Sunday

Its been far too long since I've posted anything, mainly because I just haven't liked anything I've produced recently. However I remembered the best remedy when your doing something which has stopped being interesting and has instead turned into a chore is to stop doing it, and do something new. So heres some pictures which are kind of unrelated to anything else but I kind of like them.

Something Completed

All 30 pages, 6948 word written, I feel like this is defiantly some sort of achievement. And whilst I know if I could comprehend the intricacies of cultural studies theory, then it would have been significantly better, (than me just telling people the history of Czechoslovakia). I still feel like something big has been done. 
Although I do feel sorry for who ever has to read it. 

Something I'm ready to look at

 

I completed these ages ago way before Christmas, however when I'd finished them I wasn't too sure about them which I thought was probably due to extended periods of time having to look at them. Because of this I've kept them hidden in a draw for a while and now I don't think they're not too bad. However I've just had to do the same thing for the project I finished yesterday.

My Online Presence

Above is what I suspect will probably become the homepage for my website. The website which will attempt to try and sell me to people who have money and are willing to pay for the services I provide.  Those services being pictures, (which I don't think pays quite as well as some areas of prostitution),  unfortunately no matter what what you are attempting to sell you always have to present yourself as a certain version of yourself. The version of you which is professional, and intelligent, and works hard, however still has an active social life and doesn't allow themselves to become consumed by work, although will always get the job done to a high standard. You know that version of you which doesn't exist. I need to start using twitter and try and present to that imaginary audience that I have a good social life, doing really intelligent culturally valid things. Editing the things I enjoy and who I am , and only share the pretentious side of me, like how much I enjoyed The Master. However I exclude anything which may not be culturally valid. Such as my weird obsessions with The Biggest Loser, X Factor or Heat magazine because if you don't like them ironically then seriously how can anyone think that you might be able to make an image look nice.

A small expeirment

Mainly part of this experiment is to see if I can upload a Gif. However it does also happen to be part of   a typography project I'm doing at the moment, as  really need to learn how to deal with words and letters.

Its a raptor

Sorry I completed this ages ago, but in having to hand in a professional practice folder, I completely forgot to do anything about my online presence. I will blog something which I like soon trust me. But I thought its been a while, and I'm quite proud of the Raptor. Also because it looks way better in real life there's bombs suspended underneath, now all I need is a little man ejecting from it.

Christmas

Term is now officially over, and I don't really have any art to show you, however I am proud of a christmas dinner I cooked last night with Other Martha for my house. So instead I'm going to show just how delicious MarthaSquared cooking is by showing you the carnage of the kitchen now.

Low flying planes, BEWARE

It had been reported that planes have been spotted flying dangerously low above Gilly beach. We ask all pedestrians on the footpath between Gilly and Swanpool beach to be extra carful.

I've got into tumblr and I really didn't mean to. Heres some things I put up there a few days ago. There just some experiments which I'm not going to use but I like how they look.

Its just so close now

This projects been going on for too long now, and its really starting to annoy me. However I do think that I'm almost there, and I think I would have finished it tonight. if there hadn't been a bird in the studio. Or at least thats my excuse. Anyway heres some things which are technically still experiments, however depending on how much I can be bothered.

I think it could be getting there

I defiantly feel like this is getting there, today I made this collage which will be the centre for the American Psycho cover, however there is still some inky, painty, you know that kind of messy thing. I know what I mean. it should be finished by tomorrow however which will be good.

Waiting, waiting, waiting...

I feel I have a lot of waiting to, mainly however because apparently I have a sudden interest in the US election. Maybe its just because I know the BBC graphics, are going to be fucking awesome, because their really good at doing elections, especially when the get the green screen out. Anyway heres some more work, still American Psycho, but I defiantly feel like I'm getting somewhere. Although they are still just experiments.
